Compatibility may vary depending on the printer model, the operating system in use and the label size. What label sizes are supported?
The system supports labels of any size. The available size depends on the printer in use and the label formats it supports.
Does it work offline?
Yes. EtiquetaChef runs offline and syncs to the cloud the moment Wi-Fi returns — useful for kitchens with flaky signal.
Can I import products from a spreadsheet?
Yes. CSV/XLSX import with column mapping and pre-validation. Template available in the dashboard.
Does it work for bakeries, restaurants and delivery kitchens?
Yes. Layouts and expiration rules are configured per segment. Bakeries use state-based expiration (raw/baked); delivery kitchens get per-brand isolation.
What does the QR code show?
A public page with product name, ingredients, allergens, lot, production date and expiration — in the configured language.
Can my team print without changing recipes?
Yes. Operators only print; managers and owners edit ingredients or rules. Role-based permissions audited in the log.
How do lot tracking and recall work?
Each batch gets a unique ID printed on the label. On recall, filter by lot in the dashboard to see where it was printed, when and by whom.
Is the generated nutrition table legally valid?
It is computed from ingredients per the country-of-sale standard. We always recommend a registered nutritionist review before commercial use — EtiquetaChef complements, not replaces, your food-safety lead.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contract: you can cancel anytime, no commitment. After cancellation, your monthly or annual subscription will not renew automatically.
