Bars

From house syrup to kitchen snacks, everything dated.

A bar has opened ingredients behind the counter and snacks coming out of the kitchen. EtiquetaChef standardizes the label on both sides, with calculated expiry and an identified operator.

To print you need a Bluetooth TSPL thermal printer and the mobile app (Android, iPhone or iPad). Other protocols only on request to our sales team. Printing is not available on the web dashboard.

How EtiquetaChef helps day to day

House syrups and juices

Drink preps with production date and expiry set by the product rule.

Fruit and garnishes

Lime, orange and herbs cut during the shift with short, visible expiry.

Snacks and sauces

The bar kitchen’s mise en place on the same label standard.

How many drink ingredients are thrown out for lack of a date?

Without a label, yesterday’s syrup looks like today’s. Printed date and expiry prevent both early waste and use past the date.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create expiry rules for drink preps?

Yes. Each product has its own expiry rules, and the label prints with the expiry calculated from the prep date.

Can the bartender print without touching the catalog?

Yes. Operators only print; managers and owners edit products and rules. Permissions are role-based.

Do I need a computer at the bar?

No. Printing is done from the app on a phone or tablet, straight to a Bluetooth thermal printer.
